MOUNTAIN TRAIL RACE

The Yellow Mountain Race features 4 courses with distances ranging from 22K, 65K, 82K, and up to 120K. Perfect for all types of runners from casual runners doing the 22K course to seasoned ultramarathon runners going up to 120K for the ultimate challenge. Each route provides a unique challenge that becomes harder the longer you go, yet every course gives you the incredible breathtaking experience of the Yellow Mountain in the Anhui province of eastern China. Hands down, this is a dream adventure race that must be experienced by adventure runners around the world!

A DREAM RUNNING ADVENTURE

22K COURSE

While not an easy challenge, the 22K race is the easiest and shortest route available to participate in the Yellow Mountain Race. The point-to-point course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 22K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of Yellow Mountain.

22K QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Contestants should have the following participation experience: more than 15 kilometers (including) cross-country race or half marathon within 3 hours of completion certificate; or get 1 ITRA point and above.

65K COURSE

The 65K course takes participants deeper into the mountains to increase the challenge by adding longer distances and more elevation gain. The loop course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 65K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of Yellow Mountain.

65K QUALIFICATION REQUIEMENT

Contestants should have the following participation experience: a cross-country race of more than 50 kilometers (inclusive) or a certificate for completing a full marathon within 5 hours; or obtain ITRA points of 3 or more.

82K COURSE

The 82K course takes participants deeper into the mountains to increase the challenge by adding longer distance and more elevation gain. The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 82K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of Yellow Mountain.

82K QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Contestants should have the following participation experience: 2 cross-country races of more than 50 kilometers (inclusive) or 5 or more ITRA points (no more than 2 races).

120K COURSE

The ultimate challenge at the highest elevation is the 120K mountain race pushing to 122K in actual distance. The 120K extends off the 82K course, giving participants the ultimate ultramarathon challenge in one of the most beautiful mountain regions in the world.  The course terrain features a blend of trails, dirt roads, and stone and paved pathways. The entire 120K course gives participants incredible breathtaking views of Yellow Mountain.

120K QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

Contestants should have the following participation experience: more than 100 kilometers (including) one cross-country race; obtain ITRA points of 7 or more (no more than two races).
