{"id":63,"date":"2019-05-22T19:40:07","date_gmt":"2019-05-22T19:40:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/asiaendurance.com.cn\/ymr\/?page_id=63"},"modified":"2023-01-25T22:27:14","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T22:27:14","slug":"regulations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/yellowmountainrace.com\/regulations\/","title":{"rendered":"Regulations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1>\n\t\tREGULATIONS\n\t<\/h1>\n\t\t<h2>RACE RULES<\/h2>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>All runners must adhere to the race regulations and rules to ensure safety and fairness for all participants, volunteers, medical staff, and organizers.<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>PARTICIPATION NOTICE<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>According to the newly revised &#8220;Sports Law of the People&#8217;s Republic of China&nbsp;&#8221; and the newly revised&nbsp;&#8220;Administrative Measures for Sports Events&#8221; that will&nbsp;come into effect on January 1, 2023, establish a &#8220;circuit breaker&#8221; mechanism for sports events, formulate a licensing system for high-risk sports events, and refine risks prevention, emergency response, and other relevant safeguards. On January 1, 2023, the &#8220;Announcement on the Catalog of High-Risk Sports Events&#8221; was issued by the State Sports General Administration and seven ministries and commissions. Arrangements and distances exceeding 42.195 kilometers are in line with the catalog of high-risk sports events, and administrative permission is required to hold the event. At present, the application for this event has been submitted to the Huangshan District Culture, Tourism, and Sports Bureau and has been approved. We will refer to the China Mountaineering Association&#8217;s &#8220;Mountain Cross-country Running Race Guidelines 2021)&#8221; (hereinafter referred to as the &#8220;Guidelines 2021&#8221;) and our years of experience in running cross-country races to establish Huangshan 100 competition standards that are no lower than the Guidelines 2021.<\/p>\n<p>This race will go through the corresponding administrative licensing, approval, and filing procedures in accordance with the relevant regulations and requirements of the &#8220;Administrative Measures for Sports Events&#8221; and &#8220;Announcement on the Catalog of High-Risk Sports Events&#8221;. As the organizer of the race, it has the right to use the start and finish points and the track along the way during the race. The start and finish places, routes, and tracks all meet the requirements of the guidelines for 2021. The equipment used in the race meets the requirements of the competition, including providing GPS satellite positioning systems for each player, establishing a complete road guidance system and supply stations, shelters, and medical aid stations, and establishing an emergency communication system for the event; Insurance and organizational liability insurance meet the requirements of the competition; the organizer will establish a rescue system that meets the standards of the China Mountain Rescue Association. Medical Association WAFA.<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>REQUIREMENTS<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Participants must be between 18 to 65 years of age on race day.<\/li>\n<li>Participants should be in good health and have no history of high blood pressure, heart disease, or other diseases that hinder strenuous exercise.<\/li>\n<li>Participants have considerable cross-country race experience and agree to the rules of the race.<\/li>\n<li>Participants are to provide physical examination reports (clean bill of health) from hospitals at or above the county level (including routine physical examinations such as electrocardiogram and blood pressure) when registering.<\/li>\n<li>Participants must meet qualification requirements for their distance category and provide proof when registering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>QUALIFICATION<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Each distance category has competition experience requirements, and those who meet the competition experience or obtain the corresponding ITRA points are deemed to meet the registration qualifications of the corresponding group.<\/p>\n<p>Contestants <strong>must provide proof of qualification<\/strong> when registering for the race. Acceptable proof includes <strong>race results<\/strong>, <strong>finisher certificate<\/strong>, and <strong>ITRA point listings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h5>120K PARTICIPANTS<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Contestants should have the following participation experience: more than 100 kilometers (including) one cross-country race; obtain ITRA points of 7 or more (no more than two races).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>82K PARTICIPANTS<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Contestants should have the following participation experience: 2 cross-country races of more than 50 kilometers (inclusive) or 5 or more ITRA points (no more than 2 races).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>65K PARTICIPANTS<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Contestants should have the following participation experience: a cross-country race of more than 50 kilometers (inclusive) or a certificate for completing a full marathon within 5 hours; or obtain ITRA points of 3 or more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>22K PARTICIPANTS<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Contestants should have the following participation experience: more than 15 kilometers (including) cross-country race or half marathon within 3 hours of completion certificate; or get 1 ITRA point and above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>BEING PREPARED<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Running an off-road trail race has significant risks and requires physical training and preparation for the following situations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participants should know how to face and cope with various difficulties in the mountains without outside help, especially in the night time, under strenuous weather conditions, and challenging terrain.<\/li>\n<li>Participants should be aware of how to deal with physical and psychological problems that may occur from extreme fatigue, gastrointestinal problems, muscle and joint pains, and other illnesses.<\/li>\n<li>Participants are fully aware that it is necessary to be predictive and ready for the challenges that may be encountered in the mountains, to be prepared in advance to the individual&#8217;s best ability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Respect wild animals, plants and leave no trace behind.<\/li>\n<li>Large-scale events will inevitably impact the environment, and runners must do their utmost to protect the environment. Littering on the trail may result in disqualification. We ask all runners to help us monitor the situation and remind others who break the rules.<\/li>\n<li>Runners are not allowed to bring any <strong>disposable<\/strong> plastic bottles, cans, or utensils onto the course.<\/li>\n<li>Runners are not allowed to take away bottles, bowls or other disposable objects from a Check Point Station.&nbsp;<strong>Please bring your own portable cup, bottle, or hydration pack.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Please pack a small rubbish bag for personal rubbish use during the race.<strong>&nbsp;Littering is strictly prohibited.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>FAIR PLAY<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>Runners must go along the marked race course independently and without any use of transportation.<\/li>\n<li>Runners must check-in at each Checkpoint.<\/li>\n<li>Runners must be familiar with the course map and understand how to navigate.<\/li>\n<li>Runners are advised to bring a GPS navigation device and consult their GPS devices when they&#8217;re unsure of which way to go.<\/li>\n<li>Runners must present a valid proof of identity to claim their race pack, bib and timing chip.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>RACE BIB<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>The bib must be worn in the front and on the top layer so it is clearly visible at all times during the race. The race bib and timing chip must be kept on at all times, any loss will result in disqualification.<\/li>\n<li>Emergency contact number printed on the race bib. For safety consideration, we recommend you to write down your emergency information on the back of the bib before starting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>ITRA POINTS<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Participating and finishing in the races apply ITRA points for participants as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>120K &#8211; 5 points<\/li>\n<li>82K &#8211; 4 points<\/li>\n<li>65K &#8211; 3 points<\/li>\n<li>22K &#8211; 1 point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Note: Final result of the points is subject to ITRA assessment.<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>PENALTIES<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Violation of any of the competition rules may result in timed penalties or disqualification, and any punishment or disqualification shall be finalized by the organizing committee.<\/p>\n<p>The following are some violation categories:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Taking or using motorized or wheeled vehicles<\/li>\n<li>The race is not carried out according to the route stipulated by the organizing committee<\/li>\n<li>Continue the game after the checkpoint is closed<\/li>\n<li>Missing any of the number bib and race bracelet<\/li>\n<li>Not carrying any of the mandatory equipment<\/li>\n<li>Littering on the track<\/li>\n<li>Running for others, giving the number bib to others, or using other people&#8217;s number bib<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The final analysis right of the event and rules belongs to the Organizing Committee. If the event is canceled or postponed due to force majeure factors such as the epidemic, the Organizing Committee will release relevant information as soon as possible. All relevant information of this event is subject to the official announcement.<\/p>\n\t\t<h3>REQUIRED EQUIPMENT<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>In order to participate in this race, the following equipment is required and must pass the compulsory equipment inspection.<\/li>\n<li>Staff will conduct random equipment inspections before and during the race.<\/li>\n<li>If the participant lacks the required equipment the organizing committee will force the player to terminate the competition and remove the bib and timing chip.<\/li>\n<li>However, it is important to note it is the minimum necessary and that each trail runner must adapt it according to their needs. Please contact the emergency number printed on the race bib for help when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Medical services are provided for participants and staff.<\/li>\n<li>Participants need to be aware that due to the complexity of the event environment, the medical personnel may exceed the expected arrival time, so the first-aid materials carried by participants can play a vital role in their safety.<\/li>\n<li>When a participant decides to seek medical assistance from the race, it means the medical staff has been fully authorized to use necessary temporary medical means such as intravenous injection, or other emergency procedures.<\/li>\n<li>The medical staff has the right to decide whether the participant can continue the race according to their physical condition or to stop and seek additional medical services.<\/li>\n<li>The medical services usually associated with the emergency services personnel will be paid by the participants themselves.<\/li>\n<li>The reimbursement for event insurance will apply to corresponding insurance claims according to the records, time, and medical records.<\/li>\n<li>The organizing committee will not provide any medical protection for those voluntary leave the competition area and course.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>ABANDON\/DNF<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>If a participant abandons the race on the course, please go to the nearest Checkpoint. An abandon statement is to be signed and your race bib will be marked, event bracelet will be removed.<\/li>\n<li>Participants can still take transportation, enjoy finish line foods, and resting areas.<\/li>\n<li>Repatriate service will be provided by the organizer to assist you to return to the Finish.<\/li>\n<li>If you abandon on the course without notifying the organization, the organization will not take any responsibility for all subsequences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5>INSURANCE<\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>It is recommended that participants purchase additional accident insurance with higher quotas and coverage.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Transfer of race entry is strictly forbidden.<\/strong>&nbsp;Insurance claims, such as medical assistance, will be borne by the people who try to transfer race entry. Both runners who transfer their race entry will be disqualified from running in future events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>CHANGES &amp; CANCELLATIONS<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<ul>\n<li>The organization reserves the right to modify at any moment the course route and the positioning of the rescue and Checkpoint, without warning.<\/li>\n<li>In the case of unfavorable weather conditions (such as extreme quantities of rain or snow altitude level, strong risk of hazardous storms, etc.) the start may only be postponed by a maximum of several hours, after that time the race may be canceled.<\/li>\n<li>In the case of poor weather conditions, and for reasons of safety, the organization reserves the right to stop the event underway or to modify the time barriers.<\/li>\n<li>In case of cancellation of the race, for whatever the reason, no refund of the registration fee will be made.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>REFEREE COMMITTEE<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>There are five referee committees which are composed of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 members of the organizing committee<\/li>\n<li>1 participant representative<\/li>\n<li>1 event director<\/li>\n<li>1 by the referee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t<h3>PHOTOS &amp; COPYRIGHT<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>The copyright of photos taken by the official event photographers at and during the event is the property of the organizing committee.
