The race check-in, and starting point are located at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/j.map.baidu.com\/b7\/bV2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puxi River Tourist Service Center<\/a><\/strong>, Huangshan District. (\u9ec4\u5c71\u533a\u6d66\u6eaa\u6cb3\u6e38\u5ba2\u670d\u52a1\u4e2d\u5fc3)<\/p>\n\t\t<h4>CHECK-IN<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\tTime: <strong>10:00-22:00, March 22, 2024<\/strong><br \/>\nLocation: <strong>Puxi River Tourist Service Center, Huangshan District<\/strong> (subject to final release)\n<ul>\n<li>Contestants must bring their original identity certificates when receiving the event package, and they are not allowed to collect materials on behalf of other contestants.<\/li>\n<li>When participants go to the event bag collection area, they must first present their original identity certificates. Contestants who need this service must paste a small number sticker on the designated location of the clothing storage bag for identification, and start at the start of the race. Hand over the storage bag to the staff in the bag storage area at the starting point of the race beforehand.<\/li>\n<li>The competition will not check the items placed by the contestants in the storage bags. Therefore, contestants will not accept complaints about the status of related items when receiving the storage bag, and will not be liable for compensation for their loss or damage.\u00a0It is recommended not to store valuables such as mobile phones and documents and cash in the storage bag.<\/li>\n<li>In the 120K event, a drop point is set up at CP5. When the contestants of this group arrive at CP5, they can take back the storage bag and change clothes with the number bib at the dressing point. If it is discarded voluntarily by the players, the organizing committee will not be liable for compensation for the loss.<\/li>\n<li>120K group: each participant has 2 race bags and must not exceed 30 liters, which are stored at the starting point; the change-up bag will be transferred to the change-up point (CP5) with the car after the contestant starts. Points will be transported back to the starting point after use; 82K group \/ 65K group \/ 22K group: each participant has 1 race bag and shall not exceed 30 liters, which shall be stored at the starting point;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\t\t<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/yellowmountainrace.com\/regulations\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">RULES &#038; REGULATIONS<\/a><\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>It is important that all Yellow Mountain Race participants follow the race rules and <a href=\"https:\/\/yellowmountainrace.com\/regulations\/\">regulations<\/a>, please review for details.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/yellowmountainrace.com\/regulations\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tVIEW REGULATIONS\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t<h4>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p><strong>TESTING<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Currently, China requires proof of dual negative COVID-19 test results for a Health Declaration Certificate (HDC) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.china-embassy.org\/eng\/visas\/zyxx\/t1834822.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">QR code<\/a> before boarding any plane to China. The tests must be completed no more than 48 hours prior to departure and submitted to the local Chinese embassy or consulate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VACCINATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As you prepare for your trip to China, it is very important to consult your doctor regarding your general health to participate in endurance activities and any vaccinations you may need.<\/p>\n<p>It is also important to check with the China embassy and your local travel requirements to verify if vaccination and certified test results are required for travel.<\/p>\n<p>Vaccinations should be obtained from your own physician. If Yellow Mountain Race gives information about vaccination measures or other medical information, this should be considered as a service that is under no medical liability.<\/p>\n<p>Participants must be able to document the fulfillment of vaccination requirements by presenting the International Certificate of Vaccination.<\/p>\n<p>Please be advised that vaccination and testing requirements are the customer&#8217;s responsibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUARANTINE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additionally, there may be quarantine requirements upon arriving in China. Requirements are being updated regularly as we progress through the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MORE INFO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please check your local Chinese Embassy <a href=\"http:\/\/www.china-embassy.org\/eng\/visas\/zyxx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> for up-to-date requirements.<\/p>\n\t\t<h4>CHINA VISA<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>A China travel visa is required for foreigners to enter the country. We recommend you apply for a visa as soon as you have your flight itinerary. It is best to apply early rather than risk missing out. When applying to be sure to\u00a0provide in advance your flight itinerary.<\/p>\n<p>Almost all non-Chinese nationals will need a visa to enter China. There are different visa categories and you will most likely need a tourist visa (L). Please contact your local\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.china-embassy.org\/eng\/visas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese embassy<\/a>\u00a0or consulate for more information. The procedure normally requires submitting a visa application form, paying a fee and providing the Chinese authorities with an authorized flight itinerary from your travel agent. This process takes about one to two weeks. Note that your passport must be valid for at least six months after entry. For more information please visit the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.china-embassy.org\/eng\/visas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chinese Embassy<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/p>\n\t\t<h4>HOW TO GET THERE?<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Participants will need to arrive at the city of Gantangcun or closer to the town of Gengchengzhen, Huangshan District in the Anhui province of eastern China. The race check-in, and starting point are located at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/j.map.baidu.com\/b7\/bV2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puxi River Tourist Service Center<\/a><\/strong>, Huangshan District (\u9ec4\u5c71\u533a\u6d66\u6eaa\u6cb3\u6e38\u5ba2\u670d\u52a1\u4e2d\u5fc3).<\/p>\n<h5>BY PLANE<\/h5>\n<p>Participants flying in will need to arrive at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/zDaENRbpHWtuDWXN9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Huangshan Tunxi International Airport (TXN)<\/a>. <\/strong>It takes approximately 1-hour flight from Shanghai to Tunxi.<\/p>\n<h5>BY TRAIN<\/h5>\n<p>Participants traveling by high-speed train will need to arrive at <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/5yuNEaLwxSX54Mr46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Huangshan North Station<\/strong><\/a>. It takes approximately four and a half hours from Shanghai. Note there are 2 stations in Huangshan, you want to arrive a the North station.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/yellowmountainrace.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2023\/01\/china-map-1024x860.png\" alt=\"China Map\" itemprop=\"image\" height=\"860\" width=\"1024\" title=\"China Map\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\"  \/>\n\t\t<h4>WHERE TO STAY?<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>It is recommended to find lodging located near the race start line area by\u00a0the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/j.map.baidu.com\/b7\/bV2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puxi River Tourist Service Center<\/a><\/strong>, Huangshan District. (\u9ec4\u5c71\u533a\u6d66\u6eaa\u6cb3\u6e38\u5ba2\u670d\u52a1\u4e2d\u5fc3)<\/p>\n\t\t<h4>HOWS THE WEATHER?<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Average weather in Huangshan in mid to late March can be cool with temperatures at 18\u00b0\/8\u00b0 C or 64\u00b0\/46\u00b0 F, with about 40% chance of precipitation. Temperatures will drop as elevation increases into the Yellow Mountain, prepare for a 5-15\u00b0 variance. We recommend checking local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accuweather.com\/en\/cn\/huangshan-district\/2332458\/daily-weather-forecast\/2332458\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">weather forecasts<\/a>\u00a0as race day approaches and planning accordingly.<\/p>\n\t\t<h4>ENTRY TRANSFERS<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t\t<p>Entries are NON-TRANSFERABLE.
